Matthew 6:9-13

I went to the gym to work out. I saw a young man that I never seen before, an angel. The Greek word angelos is translated to the English word angel. It means “messenger.” I receive a message from this young man. He has on a black shirt and written in white letters are these words: “Prayer the world’s greatest wireless connection.” After talking with the young man I do not see him again. I think about what this means to me.

When we pray we are making connection with God. We do not need a mediator to go to God on our behalf. We do not need to do anything to get a connection with the Lord. God is available to us any time, any place, and under any circumstances. God is never too busy to hear what we have to say, and He always has the time to speak to us to give us needed answers to our questions and support for our deepest concerns. We have a direct and uninterrupted connection to God through prayer.

Prayer: Father, thank you for always being available to hear our prayers. Amen.
