BOOK REVIEWS

 

If you are interested in submiting a book review for the website, please see process and requirments below:

 

Book reviews will be included into the article section every 5th Sunday of the month. These reviews will consist of a variety of Christian literature. It is my hope and prayer that these reviews will broaden your reading list, as you continue to gain new insight and knowledge in your faith and walk with Christ. 

 

A new section entitled, "Reccomended Reading List" will be added to the site. This will provide an excellent resource for all of us, as there will be opportunities for participation from all of you. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any books you would like to suggest to be added to the list!

 

If there are any particular books that you have read that have made a specific impact in your life, feel free to submit a review to be considered to be featured on the webiste. Please include the following elements in your book review:

 

1. Author of the book, Title of the book, Publisher and Copyright date at the top of the page--**Chicago Style format is preferred** 

2. Summary of Contents- a brief summary of the plot and/or main ideas presented in the book

3. Critical Evaluation- analyis of what you gained from the book and an overview of what the readers can expect and learn from it

 

Submission Requirments:

-Book reviews must be 500-1100 words

-Include your name and email address that you can be contacted with

-Must be submitted at least 10 days prior to the 5th Sunday 

-Please submit reviews to jmyles@comcast.net in a word document attatchement 

 

**Please understand that there is no guarantee that your review will be featured in the article section. Reviews will be taken into consideration based on meeting the criteria above and quality of your writing. If your article is not chosen to be featured, the book you have chosen to highlight will still be included into the "Reccomended Reading List", along with your name.
