Statement of Faith

I believe in one personal God who exists in three personal distinctions, known as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is creator of all things and has sovereign rule over all that God has created. God is infinite, omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.

I believe that man was created in the image of God, that man was sinless. Man freely willed to sin and thus alienated himself from God and subjected himself to the penalty, power, and presence of sin.

I believe that Jesus of Nazareth is the Christ, the Son of God who was made in the likeness of man. He came to reveal the Father and provide salvation from sin. He died, was resurrected, ascended to heaven, and is exalted to be with the Father.

I believe the Bible contain in scriptures the embodiment of divine revelation. It is God inspired, genuine, and credible and is able to be received with final authority.

I believe that the Church was instituted by Christ. Its purposes are to evangelize the world, educate its constituency, and glorify God. At the return of Christ the Church will be united with God for eternity.
